It isn't hard to find names of companies who do residential alarms and security monitoring, just take a look at the lawns in any neighborhood and you'll find signs for them. Makes you wonder, though, whether these cookie-cutter companies provide security for the high-dollar homes in some of the ritzier areas of town. Somehow I doubt it...
I have to think, for those with the means to do so, wealthier residents and businesses who want to be secure will deal with custom alarm installers. Folks like Universal Electronics of Hurst do that sort of thing, along with alarm monitoring. They really know their stuff.

Ran across this site a while back, it has a bunch of learning resources of all kinds. If you're studying depreciation, here is a collection that should help:
